微研/IFReC VPN (Virtual Private Network)接続サービス

微研/IFReCネットワーク管理室では、在宅勤務支援のため、VPNサービスを開始しました。

VPN接続サービスの概要

自宅など外部に居ながらにして、所内ネットワークに接続して、そこから接続しているかのようにインターネット利用ができます。
たとえば学内専用サイトにアクセスできる可能性があります。
- アクセス可能かどうかは、相手側の設定に依存します。
- 技術的にアクセス可能であっても、規約、契約など非技術的理由により大学外からの利用が禁止されている場合もあると聞いていますのでご注意ください。詳細はネットワーク管理室ではわかりませんので、個別に相手方にお尋ねください。
研究室内のNASや複合機などのネットワークに接続された機器にアクセスできる可能性があります。
- アクセス可能かどうかは、機器の設定に依存します。
- 機器の電源は入っている必要があります。

以下の手順で登録すればすぐに利用開始できます。

VPN利用申し込みフォームにて、メールアドレスを入力してください。キーワードには「RIMD/IFReC」と入力してください（「」は含みません）。入力後、「Submit」を押してください。
注意：メールアドレスは、微研（@biken.osaka-u.ac.jp）またはIFReC（@ifrec.osaka-u.ac.jp）の個人利用（複数人共有ではない）のメールアドレスに限ります。それ以外のメールアドレスしかお持ちでない方は、個別に申し込み可能メールアドレスとして登録しますので、所属を明記の上、ネットワーク管理室までお尋ねください。
入力したメールアドレスに確認メールが届くので、メール記載のリンクを開いてください。必要事項を入力して「Submit」ボタンを押せば、メールでアカウントの情報が届きます。
メール記載のソフトをダウンロード・インストールし、VPN接続設定を行ってください。設定時には、メールの添付ファイルの証明書またはプロファイルをソフトに読み込ませる必要があります。その際に必要となる秘密鍵のパスフレーズまたはパスワードもメールに記載されています。

アカウントの有効期限は約1年（365日）です。
VPN利用申し込みフォームに入力すれば、いつでもアカウントを再発行可能です。再発行すれば、自動的に以前のアカウントは無効となります。期限切れが近づいた時や、アカウント情報を紛失した時は、再発行してください。
不正使用が疑われる場合は、予告なくアカウントを停止する場合があります。
試験サービスのため、予告なく内容を変更する場合やサービスを停止・終了する場合があります。

RIMD/IFReC NetAdmin Office offers VPN service to support working from home.

This service allow you to connect to RIMD/IFReC local area network (LAN) while you are outside (e.g. your home), and you can use the internet as if you were connected from the LAN.
For example, you may have access to internal only sites in this university.
- The accessibility may depend on configuration of each site.
- Please be aware that even if it is technically accessible, we've heard that it may be prohibited for non-technical reasons, such as terms and conditions, contracts, etc., from using it from physically outside the university. Please contact each site's officers about this, because we don't have enough information.
You may be able to access devices connected to the network, such as NAS and MFP in the laboratory.
- Whether it is accessible or not depends on the configuration of the device.
- The device must be powered on.

To register to the VPN service, follow the procedure below.

Enter your email address in the VPN service application form. The keyword is "RIMD/IFReC" (without quotation mark). Press "Submit" button after inputting.
Note: The email address must be in the RIMD (@biken.osaka-u.ac.jp) or IFReC (@ifrec.osaka-u.ac.jp) domain, and must be used by a person (must not be shared by two or more persons). If you don't have such email address, please contact NetAdmin Office with your affiliation, and we will add your email address to the candidate email address list.
A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered. Follow the link in the email. Input required information and click "Submit" button. Then, account information will be sent by email.
Download and install the software described in the email and make VPN connection settings. Certificate or profile file attached in the email is necessary during the setup. The private key passphrase or password required for this setup is also described in the email.

The account is valid for about one year (365 days).
You can reissue your account at any time by filling out the VPN service application form. If you reissue, the previous accout will be automatically invalidated. If the expiration date is near, or if you've lost your account information, please reissue it.
If unauthorized usage is detected, we may suspend the account without notice.
Since this is a test service, the service contents may be changed, or the service may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
